Brushwood Junior School
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Brushwood Junior School. The pupils, staff, and Governors are all very proud of our highly successful and oversubscribed two-form entry school, nestled in the heart of its community.
Our school ethos is centred around our motto of ‘Brushwood Learners Thrive.’ Together, we strive to ensure that everyone in our school community is given the nurture, encouragement, knowledge and skills to enable success. This is achieved through our exciting and ambitious curriculum; providing access to a diverse array of enrichment activities; and by fostering a supportive learning environment through our caring and skilled staff team, inspiring each child along their educational journey.
We are proud of our holistic and inclusive approach to learning, along with our commitment to promoting positive emotional well-being and mental health. We strive to enable every child to reach their full potential personally, emotionally, socially, and academically.
Situated amidst spacious grounds with excellent facilities for learning both inside and outside the classroom, we believe that children learn best if they are happy, valued, and feeling secure. As a team, we work in close partnership with parents, appreciating the vital contribution they make to our vibrant school community.
In June 2024, Ofsted rated our school as ‘Outstanding’ in all areas. This is a fantastic testament to the dedication and commitment that our staff team provide daily, to make our school the unique and wonderful place it is.
We would love to welcome your family to our school. We look forward to the possibility of sharing many exciting and unforgettable experiences with you during your time at Brushwood.
